Today's transmog is a simple one, and well, its not a transmog at all, its a costume !! What else would you wear in the World of Warcraft during Pilgrim's Bounty.
There are some hats out there that you can use for xmog that do look just like the Pilgrim's Hat. There is a leather one, Comfortable Leather Hat and the cloth one, Fireheart Skullcap. The whole Pilgrim's get up is from doing the dailies and achievements towards the Pilgrim's Bounty.
I always wonder why the Tauren's don't have a get up for those that wish not to dress up like pilgrims but the others that shared in the original Thanksgiving. I guess the druids could just wear there tier 6 instead.
Anyways ... just wanted to throw a little something together today and wish everyone out there a Happy Thanksgiving and go on X-mog It !!

Monkish-Rogue
I was going to post my hunter but to be honest its just tier 7.5 gear with the Ruthless helm (same tabard as my monk is wearing in this xmog) maybe later when I run out of toons. So ya I decided to show off my monk this week, like I said in the past I love the helm that the Shado-Pan wear, but at the time I could not find the gear they wear with it. To be honest the gear I found was by complete accident, I wanted finish getting the rogue tier 9 look-a-like set.
The first 2 pieces can be obtained from questing in The Jade Forest. The chest Leather Tunic of Eminent Domain and the legs Honorary Combat Engineer's Leather Trousers (whew those are long names) I do believe they make copies of these sets in the Trial of the Crusader if you are not a rogue and want this look for your monk or druid. The shoulders can be obtained for JP and the boots where a drop from Halls of Reflection, along with the sword I have equipped. I am duel wielding but i do not like the look of having 2 swords crossing on my back so the other weapon is a fist weapon, of course the belt if a monk only belt, but there tons of options there.
Like I stated earlier it was by accident because after getting the set it was then I started to look for a helm that worked, and well, it just happen to be the coolest helm in the game.
.... Thanks and go on X-mog It !!

3 out of 4 Elements !?
This week I'm showing of my Shaman's look. I called it 3 elements because .. well there 3 of the 4 represented in this set. The shoulders show off air, the chest and legs, fire(rock/lave) and the mace shows off earth. I could probably find a shield to represent water, but that might not look very good.
To be honest I just loved the shoulders and gloves you get from pvp season 1 but didn't like the the rest so I went searching for a better look. After a short search and a lil' jp I picked up the chest and legs you get from season 5, looked rather nice IMO plus like I said before I like to mix up sets to look somewhat unique.
The weapon is the War Mace of Unrequited Love (I had no idea that was the name until now) I already had it, and went threw a few other maces but this one seemed to work. The belt is a random one I got from the AH, I am trying to get the one that goes with the chest and legs that drops off Emalon in Vault of Archavon.
The shield on the other hand, took quite awhile searching threw Atlas Loot to find something that worked (and could be obtained without any help) so I choose the Bulwark of the Warchief, which you get from rep. Im still keeping an eye out for other shields that might work better, but for now this one looks nice.

Oriental Lock
So I decided to start with my warlock and the current set I been running around on, I love the helm you get from being exalted with the Shado-Pan and they do make one for each armor type. Only trouble I had with my lock is finding gear that matched the helm, and well lock gear and oriental theme gear don't really match to begin with.
After some time going threw AtlasLoot and tier gear I wasn't have much luck, so I decided to go threw some gear I already had, I pretty much saved every pvp set I have collected over the years (I pvp more then raid). I tried on the Deadly Gladiators set and seemed to look pretty good for a lock meets East look.

Now for the belt I used the tier 5 one that I already had and the weapon I currently have x-mog is the Sun Eater that drops from heroic Mechanar, but there quit a few weapons that can match this set being on the darker side of colors.
Well that's it for my Oriental Lock, I just want to add one more thing, for an offhand to add to the "monk" look there is a "staff" that drops off Dustwraith(rare) in Zul'Farrak called Desertwalker Cane, what I like about this off-hand is that it shows while sheathed.

Intro !
Just wanted to start with that I am not trying to make yet another trans-mog website that will help you pick and match gears with long list of different items and so forth. They are plenty of sites out there already like Icy-Veins or Wow Roleplay gear.
I wanted to start a blog where we can share sets and ideas that we come up with on our own, not just run of your mill tier sets or gear made to match ie Black Dragon Mail. Its about style in my opinion and noting feels better when you get an in game tell saying what a cool xmog set or where did you get that gear from.
I found myself in game coming up with custom sets just to be unique and not like every pally in tier 2 or lock and tier 5. So I decided that it might be time to share some of the ideas I have, as well as see what other great concepts that others have come up with as well.
So let me just end with .... WELCOME. I hope you guys enjoy and that this can grown into another great community inside an already huge and wonderful community that is WoW.
